| Bio: | Personality: Helena appears quite calm, cool, and otherwise quite nerdy. She’s always reading and writing essays. She wants to learn and know everything. Yet, deep down she is quite insecure. This is also disguised by her strong-headedness. Also, Helena is stubborn and independent. Parts of how society viewed women and expected them to act was not the way she wanted to be. Above all - she is her own, all be it prim and proper, woman. Family Helena’s mother has always been the one she’s looked to for advice and to gauge her own knowledge. Yes, there is a bit of competition between them in the knowledge department. But she also has a moderate wild-streak in her. High standards and wanting to choose who she will spend the rest of her life. At her legal age, Helena was not going to be strapped down. Personal History Helena Morgaine Ravenclaw was born to Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the founders of Hogwarts. Beautiful and brilliant - she grew up as any other witch. She learned magic and instantly was fascinated with learning and reading. But in those warm brown eyes of hers, there was a wild streak. Years went by and she began more competitive with her mother as regards of who knew more. This went back and forth. But as the years passed, they did grow a bit apart. When she turned 18, Helena’s mother forced to find someone to marry. He was a wealthy and dashing baron. But in Helena's eyes, he was a scoundrel. The Baron was a ruthless, jealous, and possessive in regards to her. The daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw was a trophy in his opinion. Helena was disgusted by the Baron. He was physically and emotionally abusive. He didn't want her to read or to have her own opinion on things. This is what lead Helena to runaway, but before she ran away - she stole her mother's diadem (angry with her mother over choosing the Baron to be her fiancé. Helena ran all the way to Albania. She hid her the diadem and then tried to hide herself away. Time passed and Rowena grew deathly ill. Her mother sent word for her daughter to return. But Helena refused. The Baron soon came after her with news that Rowena was deathly ill. She refused to go with him. He lost his temper and killed her. She had tried to talk some sense into him, to send him away.
